Emma Nillson
School Director, Jazz and
Lyrical Teacher
Emma Nilsson de Macedo is a renowned choreographer, dancer, and educator known for her innovative style that merges dance genres. With a global presence, she's shaped the dance community profoundly.
At Cascais Dance Academy, she cultivates a nurturing ambiance, supported by a dedicated team. The academy's personalized programs cater to all levels and ages, embodying Emma's commitment to instill not just technical skill, but also a love for dance and artistic expression.
Catarina Pita
Ballet and Contemporary Teacher
Catarina Pita, specializes in classical ballet and contemporary dance. Holding an Intermediate Grade certification from the Royal Academy of Dance, PBT Level 1 certification, a Post Graduate degree in dance training, and a Degree in dance from Lisbon University, she's well-versed. Starting teaching in 2019, she even performed in "Functio," choreographed by Luís Marrafa.
At Cascais Dance Academy since 2021, Catarina passionately nurtures young talents with a disciplined yet youthful approach.
Margarida Fonseca
Contemporary Teacher
Margarida Cruz Fonseca is a versatile dance educator. Holding a Master's in Food Engineering and a Bachelor's in Dance, she trained with renowned instructors and danced as a principal in productions like "12 Meses do ano" with Orquestra Moltovivace de Minde and "Origami" with Saxophonist Nelson Manuel Ferreira Inácio, staged at institutions including Escola Superior de Dança and Escola Superior de Música. Alongside teaching various dance styles and Pilates, she collaborated with Clube de Atividades Gímnicas, coaching elite gymnasts.
